    I have been working with Jeremy since January to learn how to lift weights within my journey of healing a back injury. I started with little to no knowledge on weight lifting and was nervous that if I started lifting on my own I would injure myself more.   • When it comes to chronic pain, no one is going to “fix” you. Doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other health practitioners all have tools and knowledge to help you. But you will be disappointed if you keep searching for a perfect, instant cure from them.

    One of the first steps to recovery is to flip this dynamic and take ownership over your own health. I can help guide you along the way, teaching you tools to take care of your body both mentally and physically. I will also explain the specific benefits of other health practitioners, so you can understand when to use each of them for their expertise.

  • Learn to tune in to your physical sensations. Your body is trying to tell you something. Gaining awareness can help make your pain experience less scary and give you back control.

    Notice the mental and physical triggers that amplify your pain experience. Our emotional state can greatly affect our experience of pain, and physical pain can influence our emotions, which can create a negative feedback loop. It is important to be honest with yourself here. It takes immense courage to learn this skill, as well as practice and patience.

  • We often stop moving because something hurts, and then our body hurts more because we don’t move. But how do you move safely? That’s where I can help.

    My movement assessments will help give you a better understanding of where your body is out of balance. These imbalances can put extra strain on certain parts of the body, contributing to your pain experience. I’ll demonstrate how your body should move, show you how your body currently moves, and provide strategies to bridge that gap.
